Usage is billed monthly, based on the number of API Transactions made to the Veryfi OCR API Platform.

How are API Transactions defined?
An API Transaction is a request to extract data from a single document that spans no more than 15 pages. To process documents with more than 15 pages, a custom account configuration is required. Contact [email protected] to explore custom account details.

How does Veryfi deterministic AI models compare to LLMs
Veryfi ML models are deterministic and trained in house on H100s and A100s (state of the art Nvidia AI machines). Customers can rely on the JSON and the results Veryfi APIs return.
In comparison, LLMs are non-deterministic and not good to use with financial numbers. This is also referred to as hallucinations. Sometimes it might get it right but other times it will not and make up results. This is something a leader CANNOT rely on especially if the numbers are used to make business decisions or for statutory tax regulations yielding compliance failures.
