Welcome to Veryfi! These terms cover your use of our Receipts OCR & Expenses App.
1. What You’re Getting
The Veryfi App lets you:
- Scan and digitize receipts, invoices, and bills
- Track expenses and mileage
- Generate expense reports
- Export data to accounting software
- Manage business expenses on mobile and web
2. Your Account
Creating an Account
- You must provide accurate information
- You’re responsible for keeping your password secure
- Don’t share your account with others
- Notify us immediately if your account is compromised
Account Types
- Free: Limited monthly scans
- Plus: Unlimited scans, advanced features ($9.99/month)
- Premium: Team features, integrations ($19.99/month)
- Business: Multi-user plans (custom pricing)

3. What You Can Do
✅ You can:
- Use the app for personal or business expense tracking
- Upload receipts, invoices, and documents you have rights to
- Export your data anytime
- Share reports with your accountant or team
- Use data extracted by Veryfi for your business purposes
4. What You Can’t Do
❌ Don’t:
- Upload illegal, fraudulent, or malicious content
- Share your account credentials
- Use the app to spam or harass others
- Try to hack, reverse engineer, or break our security
- Upload documents you don’t have permission to process
- Use the app for any illegal activity
- Use multiple accounts to obtain free trials or discounts
5. Your Data
You own your data. We just process it for you.
What we do with your data:
- Store it securely with encryption
- Process it to extract expense information
- Use anonymized data to improve our AI (we remove all identifying info)
- Never sell your data to third parties
Your rights:
- Export your data anytime from the app
- Delete your account and data (we’ll remove it within 90 days)
- Access all your receipts and reports 24/7

6. Payment Terms
Subscriptions
- Billed monthly or annually (annual saves 20%)
- Auto-renews unless you cancel
- Cancel anytime following the expiration of the current billing plan from account settings
- No refunds for partial months
Free Trial
- 14 days free on paid plans
- No credit card required to start
- Automatically ends if you don’t upgrade
Late Payment
- If payment fails, we’ll email you
- You have 7 days to update payment info
- Account may be suspended if not resolved or excessive use in the 7 day period
7. What We Promise (and Don’t)
We’ll try our best to:
- Keep the app running smoothly
- Extract data accurately from your documents
- Keep your data secure and private
- Fix bugs and add features
But we can’t guarantee:
- 100% uptime (maintenance and life happens)
- Perfect OCR accuracy (check important data)
- Compatibility with all devices/browsers
- No service interruptions
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” – We’re not liable for lost data, missed deductions, or accounting errors. Always verify important information.
8. Liability Limits
If something goes wrong:
- Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months
- We’re not responsible for indirect damages, lost profits, or business interruption
- You’re responsible for backing up important data
9. Termination
You can:
- Cancel anytime from your account settings, but your are still responsible for any payments you promised us
- Delete your account and data
We can suspend/terminate if:
- You violate these terms
- Your payment is 30+ days overdue
- You use the app illegally or abusively
If we terminate:
- You’ll have 90 days to export your data
- No refunds for early termination (unless we terminate without cause)
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. If we do:
- We’ll post the new version at veryfi.com/terms
- We may email you about significant changes
- Continued use means you accept the changes
11. Privacy & California Rights
California residents and certain others have additional rights:
- Request what data we’ve collected about you
- Request deletion of your data
- Opt out of data “sales” (we don’t sell data)

12. General Legal Stuff
Governing Law: California law applies
Disputes: Resolved in San Mateo County, California courts
No Warranty: App provided “as is”
Your Responsibility: You’re liable for how you use the app
Entire Agreement: This plus our Privacy Policy is the whole deal
