Is this an App or API?
It is a desktop app for PC, Mac, and Linux that calls Veryfi AI through the Veryfi APIs. Drop in a long PDF and it splits the file into individual bills of lading, removes duplicates, looks up DMV codes so each line gets the right fuel type, and builds the end-of-month spreadsheet you review and submit to the DMV.

What does Veryfi do with a fuel bill of lading?
It reads the PDF or photo and pulls the fields the Nevada motor-fuel schedule needs: schedule, fuel code, origin, destination, bill of lading number, and net gallons. Those rows go into a spreadsheet your team reviews. You still file the return with the DMV.

How does Veryfi decide the fuel type?
It reads the product lines on the bill of lading, not just the header. Clear diesel, dyed diesel, gasoline, and the other products on the load are matched to the DMV fuel code used on the schedule, such as 167, 227, or 65. Each line keeps its own code, so a mixed load does not get reported as one product.

How does the county get onto the report?
Two ways. In Lens, the driver can tag the upload with the county code before it goes to the office. Or they can write the code on the bill of lading. Veryfi reads that code, checks it against the Nevada DMV county list, and returns the county name. EL comes back as Elko, CL as Clark, WA as Washoe.

Why can one delivery show up on two schedules?
A load can be both a receipt and a disbursement. On the sample, BOL 3048410 (fuel 227, Las Vegas to Las Vegas, 3,585 gallons) is on schedule 2 and schedule 10. Both rows keep that document number, so the gallons still trace to one haul.

How are export, import, and intrastate separated?
Origin and destination decide the pile. Loaded in Nevada and delivered outside is an export. Loaded outside and delivered in Nevada is an import. Sparks to Elko, or Las Vegas to Las Vegas, stays intrastate. Product stays with the line, so each schedule is also split by fuel type.

Can the driver capture the BOL at the drop?
Yes. Veryfi Lens on iPhone or Android photographs the bill of lading as the fuel is delivered and sends it in. The office sees the delivery without waiting on paper, and the county tag can go on that same upload.

Does Veryfi file or pay the DMV for us?
No. Veryfi prepares the DMV-ready schedule. Your team reviews the rows and transmits the return in the Nevada Motor Carrier system. Confirm current forms and due dates at dmv.nv.gov/fuel.htm before you file.
